Polytechnic High School’s volleyball team had a blowout win against away team Narbonne High School on Friday, Sept. 15. The match only lasted two sets with Poly dominating both.

The teams initially appeared evenly matched coming into the first set. Though Poly still led, Narbonne managed to stay within striking distance of the Parrots in the early going. But then Poly found their stride and sailed to a 15-8 lead midway through the first set. Narbonne battled back and tried to stay competitive, but Poly would cruise to a 25-11 set win.

The second set was completely different. Poly jumped on the Gauchos early, smashing their way to a 15-7 lead midway through the second. Narbonne battled their way to win a few points, but Poly proved to be too much to handle and the Parrots eventually took the set 25-14.
