Week Two kicks off tonight, and the latest edition of the Valley Sports Telegrams power rankings has arrived. The East Valley League is well represented this week, with several teams off to strong starts. The teams that occupy the top two spots will have their hands full trying to maintain their positions with tough road tests on the horizon. Here are the top ten teams after the first two weeks of football in the SFV this week:

1. Kennedy Cougars (2-0)
   The Cougars’ offense has never looked more dangerous than it has in the first two weeks. They have the top spot this week as they head to Santa Clarita for a tough road test versus Canyon.
2. Cleveland Cavaliers (2-0)
   The Cavaliers have bullied their first two opponents to start the season. The key for this team will be to keep their top weapons in good condition, and they will be tough to beat. They will face their toughest test of the young season on the road at Castaic.
3. Panorama Pythons (2-0)
   The Pythons have run wild to start the year, outscoring their opponents 112-37 through the first two weeks. They’ll look to move to 3-0, hosting Fulton this week.
4. Arleta Mustangs (2-0)
   The Mustangs have impressed despite having only five seniors on their roster. Jesse Rios has played well to start the year, but the defense has been even better, having allowed 21 points through the first two games. Arleta has a bye this week before a tough road matchup at Chatsworth on 9/11.
5. Chatsworth Chancellors (1-0)
   The Chancellors had to wait until Week One to take the field, but it was worth the wait. Chatsworth breezed past Franklin to debut at the fifth spot this week. A trip to Westlake awaits them this week.
6. Fulton Jaguars (2-0)
   The Jaguars are the early surprise of the season, getting out of the gate quickly under new head coach Steve Smith. They will face a stiff test visiting Panorama, who shut out Manual Arts 48-0 last week.
7. Taft Toreadors (1-1)
   The Toreadors had a rough night trying to shut down Nordhoff’s passing attack last week. They will look to rebound against Los Angeles at home this week.
8. Poly Parrots (1-1)
   The Parrots proved the fight they put up against Taft in the opener was indeed a sign of the positive trajectory the program is on under Boo Williams at the helm. They shut out San Fernando on the road and now have a bye week before hosting Sylmar in two weeks.
9. Granada Hills Highlanders (1-1)
   It was a rough night last week for GHC, as they dropped their first game of the season at home to Venice. They’ll have a chance to rebound when they host Palisades this week.
10. Van Nuys Wolves (1-1)
    The Wolves lost a tough one to Jefferson at home last week. The Wolves are a bit banged up on top of being a young squad. They have some things to figure out, but the talent to get back on track is there. They are on the road at Roybal this week.
