The regular season has wrapped up, and the teams around the SFV are now gearing up for the postseason. The League champs sit atop the power list, but there are some heavy hitters littered throughout the rankings that are poised to make noise as the intensity ramps up for postseason play. Here are the final power rankings as the CIF City playoffs are set to begin tomorrow night:

1. Birmingham Patriots (7-3)
   Another year, another rampage through the West Valley for the Patriots. The road gets tougher now in the Open playoffs, but the Patriots have the talent to hoist another city title.
2. Kennedy Cougars (9-1)
   The Valley Mission champions take the second spot on the list after another phenomenal season. They find themselves face-to-face with the monsters of the city in Birmingham to begin the Open playoffs next week.
3. North Hollywood Huskies (7-3)
   Its back-to-back undefeated regular season campaigns for The Huskies in the East Valley, and now their attention turns to the postseason. The Huskies deserved a top seed in the D-II playoffs and they will be looking to prove that point when they face Sylmar in the first round of the playoffs tonight.
4. Van Nuys Wolves (9-1)
   The Wolves are feeling good with a week off before they begin the postseason next week. Their nine-win campaign is their best finish in the Valley Mission since 2012.
5. El Camino Real Royals (6-4)
   The Royals wrapped up the regular season with a dominant win over their rivals, Taft. They will be one of the favorites in a loaded D-I bracket when action gets underway tonight.
6. Granada Hills Highlanders (5-5)
   The Highlanders finished the year at .500, but they played one of the toughest schedules in the city section this season. The three-score victory over Cleveland might be an indicator of what is to come for GHC when they hit the road to play Marquez to open the playoffs.
7. San Fernando Tigers (7-3)
   The Tigers took care of business against Canoga Park to finish the regular season and will be the #2 seed in D-II when the playoffs begin, ensuring they will play at home for their entire playoff run. A championship run could be on the horizon.
8. Arleta Mustangs (7-3)
   The Mustangs are the #10 seed in the D-II bracket. After an excellent close to the season, the East Valley runners-up could be a sleeper to make a deep playoff push this year.
9. Taft Toreadors (6-4)
   The Toreadors did not close the season as they would have wanted, losing to Elco, but the playoffs provide a chance to wipe the slate clean. They will have a gargantuan task going on the road to face Eagle Rock when the D-I playoffs begin tonight.
10. Sylmar Spartans (6-4)
    The Spartans closed out the regular season with a good win over Panorama on the road. They will play one of the more intriguing matchups of the opening rounds of the postseason when they face North Hollywood tonight.
