Hayrapetian then made it a three goal game with her third goal of the second quarter and Monrovia led at halftime 6-3.

Following the halftime break, Grace Vangerguten and Hayrapetian traded goals to start the third quarter. Hayrapetian then added two more goals in the quarter to cut the Monrovia lead to one with real hopes of turning the game in favor of the Bulldogs. The Wildcats led 7-6 heading into the final quarter of play.

Veltman, Grace Vangerguten, and Payton Sachs recorded three straight goals for Monrovia to increase the Wildcat lead to 10-6.
